Gotta Have Mustang One Specs!
That’s Right! – We gotta have those Stats and Specs on the Mustang One! – Let’s Get Started with that!! – – – For those who may not know it – “The Ford Mustang I is a small, mid-engined (4-cylinder), open two-seater concept car. It used aluminum body work that was built by Ford in 1962. It shared few design elements with the final production vehicle. But it did lend its name to the line. The original Ford Mustang came from the Fairlane Group. – – –
The Fairlane Group!
The Fairlane Group! – – – That was a committee of Ford managers led by Lee Iacocca. The Fairlane Group worked on new product needs. In the summer of 1962, the Group banged out the framework of a new sports car. The automaker made a tentative bid to fill a vacuum between Go-Karts and the Corvette. They designed it to compete in FIA category 9 (SCCA Class G). Popular Mechanics compared it to the imported MG 1600 Mark II and Sunbeam Alpine Mark II sports cars!” Source: Mustang I Wiki
Another of My sources tells me that Mustang Two is an American automobile manufactured by Ford. – Haa! – I knew that!! – It was originally based on the platform of the second generation North American Ford Falcon. The original 1962 Ford Mustang I two-seater concept car had evolved. It grew into the 1963 Mustang II four-seater concept car! Ford used it to test how the public would take to the first production Mustang. The 1963 Mustang II concept car carried the production model’s front and rear ends! – And – Had a roof that was 2.7 inches shorter. They introduced the First Generation Mustang on April 17, 1964! Mustang fans dubbed it 1964½! The 1965 Mustang became the automaker’s most successful launch since the Model A.” Source: Mustang I & II Wiki

The Creators of Mustang Generations!
The Gang that Created the Mustang Generations that begat the “pony car” class of American automobiles – The Fairlane Group set off a Revolution! They envisioned affordable sporty coupes with long hoods and short rear decks! – And that gave rise to competitors such as the Chevrolet Camaro that will have it’s own VivaChas Series of Stories after Mustang! – Why after? – Chevy Fans are begging to know! – Well Because Camaro is a Pony Car. – And – Mustang was the First! – It just makes sense to start there!
But Wait! – There’s More!!
Mustang Generations additionally begat Pontiac Firebird, AMC Javelin, Chrysler’s revamped Plymouth Barracuda! – And the first generation Dodge Challenger for you MoPar Guys!!! – The Mustang also inspired the designs of coupés such as the Toyota Celica! – And – – – Wait for It!! – And Ford Capri, which were then imported to the United States from every corner of the Earth!!! – And most of you realize (the old spelling was realise – really! – Weird huh!) – Anyway – Most know that Mustang Generations have been the engine driving the Pony Car Revolution! – Source: Ford Mustang Wiki
